When using our genealogy file it is important for
researchers to also pay attention to the second portion of the call number which will be
either Ser. A, Ser. B, Ser. C, Ser. D. or Ser. E. In our archives these designations
indicate the following:

It is important when requesting materials that the call number always be cited fully and correctly and that all relevant information from the entry is given. For instance, all Ser. C (genealogies on microfilm) will also have a page number or other number showing where the genealogy is found on the microfilm.
