Our Archives and Museum are located in the center of the Village of Tusket, Nova Scotia, Canada. Tusket is 9 miles from Yarmouth, Nova Scotia on Route 3 (Lighthouse Route) or Exit 33 off Highway 103. Tusket is situated on the Tusket River on the south shore of Nova Scotia. Its name evolved from the Indian name, Neketaouksit, “a great, forked, tidal river.”
